About Us
Storybox Films was established when award winning producer, Don Linke and Jeremy Stanford, director and one of Australia’s premier theatre actors joined together to turn their vision of a dynamic and responsive film and television production company into reality.
As a creative combination, Don and Jeremy bring with them the hard won knowledge and experience of many years work in the industry. They share many cross-over disciplines, both have script writing credits, both have directorial experience and both have worked with many of Australia's theater, film and television legends.
Meet the Team
Don Linke, Producer
Don has twenty years of experience in the film industry across all areas of film and video production including television and corporate video production, feature films and documentaries. As a film producer, Don’s first feature film Five moments of infidelity was the inaugural digiSPAA winner in 2004 and his latest feature Wil won official selection at the Hollywood Film Festival. He brings a wealth of skills and knowledge to his job.
Don has spent many years working with various media agencies in Melbourne and has helped create effective and strategic content for government, corporate and community based clients.
Jeremy Stanford, Writer/Director
Jeremy graduated from the VCA School of Film and Television in 1999. His short films have been selected for several international and national film festivals. He has written many feature film and TV scripts as well working for some years as a script editor. For stage he has directed What’s the Matter with Mary Jane? by Wendy Harmer as well as My Dinner with Andre.
Jeremy is well known as an actor and has had guest roles in most leading Australian T.V. dramas. On stage is best remembered for his performance as 'Buddy' in The Buddy Holly Story and most recently recreated Hugo Weaving’s character of 'Tick' on stage in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The Musical.
Sarah Spencer, Corporate manager
Sarah has over ten years experience in Marketing and Client Relationship Management with a list of blue chip companies that include Diners club, Citibank and Virgin Blue. She has previously worked with the Carlson Marketing Group, David Jones and the Starwood Hotel Group.
Sarah has joined Storybox Films to expand her expertise and to continue working with clients, helping them to manage the process of creating corporate videos that they are proud of and that confidently reflect the values, messages and integrity of their companies.
